The Lost Seed
Once upon a time, in a lush green forest, there was a little seed named Saphi. Saphi was a young, eager seed who dreamed of growing into a tall, strong tree like the ones she had seen in the forest. But there was one problem: Saphi had been dropped far from the fertile soil, in a small, dry patch of land.
As the days passed, Saphi felt weak and thirsty. She longed for a place where she could grow big and strong, but no one seemed to notice her. The rain would fall on the nearby trees, and the animals would walk past, too busy to care for the little seed.
One day, an old wise bird named Juno flew by and saw Saphi struggling. She landed next to the small seed and asked, “Why are you so sad, little seed?”
Saphi replied, “I want to grow into a big tree, but the soil here is dry. I don’t think I can ever grow strong like the others.”
Juno looked around and said, “It’s true that this place is not the best for growing. But, if you don’t give up, you may still find a way to grow. Sometimes, we must make the best of the challenges life gives us.”
Saphi thought about the bird’s words and decided to try. She began to push her tiny roots deep into the dry earth, and slowly, she started to absorb every bit of water she could find. Over time, Saphi grew, but not as quickly as the other trees. It was hard work, but she didn’t give up.
Seasons passed, and one day, a gentle rain fell on the forest. The dry patch of land became a little greener, and Saphi’s branches reached higher into the sky. She was not the tallest tree in the forest, but she was proud of how far she had come. She had turned her weakness into strength.
The moral of the story is: No matter how tough the situation may seem, perseverance and hard work can help you grow stronger than you ever imagined.
